I am passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of the residents of South Devon. I am a member of this community and I enjoy the huge health benefits we can glean from living in such a beautiful part of the country. I graduated from the University of Bristol in 1998. I commenced my training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine in 2001 and have worked extensively across the South West of the UK and also in Perth and Melbourne in Australia.

My first Consultant post was at the Bristol Royal Infirmary where I worked for 3 years before relocating with my family to South Devon in 2014 - I have worked as a full time Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Torbay Hospital since then.

I am highly experienced in providing anaesthesia for a broad range of specialties and I have excellent relationships with the surgical and theatre teams at Mount Stuart Hospital.

My private practice is largely based at Mount Stuart Hospital - I live within 10 minutes drive of this facility and provide 24 hour care for patients who I have anaesthetised as part of Torbay Anaesthetic Group.
