Richard has over 20 years of experience in the NHS working predominantly in the fields of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. He is a Fellow of The Royal College of Anaesthetists, a Fellow of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine and he has been awarded the European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine. Richard has worked as a Consultant in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine within the NHS for the past 12 years and was the clinical service lead for intensive care during the Covid pandemic. Richard has worked in private practice at Mount Stuart Hospital in Torquay for 10 years. He is experienced in providing anaesthesia and peri-operative care for a broad range of specialties including Orthopaedics, Plastics, Gynaecology, Upper gastro-intestinal, Colorectal and Ear Nose and Throat surgery.
